Talking of monkeys; I used to have a recurring nightmare as a kid that a monkey from outer space came down and bit my Mom's head off. He was wearing dungarees like the ones in the tea adverts (do you guys have those?) landed in the garden and the came up stairs and bit her head off with one bite.
Why do I get the feeling I have shared too much of my life with you? http://www.hostboard.com/ubb/wink.gif

Drags, Middleverse is episode 6, Shadowed Past is episode 10. We have a long wait considering how long it took to get this far.
Scary movies? I saw Who Framed Roger Rabbit when I was 6 or 7 (I don't remember) and it scared the CRAP out of me. That part at the end, where they squished the guy and he popped back up... *shivers* I couldn't sleep for weeks.

I love "Who Framed Roger Rabbit" its one of my favorite movies,I saw it with a group of my friends for my 13th Birthday. If I was your age at the time I think that scene would have scared me to,I found it a bit creepy even in my teens.I remember when I saw "Ghostbusters" in the theaters and that library scene where they were all sneaking up on that ghostlady from behind and then all of the sudden it turns around into this huge creepy looking thing and screams out really loud.I jumped out of my seat and spilled some of my popcorn on the guy next to me.I didnt find the movie scarey, but that scene caught me by surprise.
Sorry if I rambled but this thread is getting me all nostalgic. http://www.hostboard.com/ubb/biggrin.gif

Ghostbusters rocked! http://www.hostboard.com/ubb/smile.gif You wanna now another movie that freakes me out? Well, kinda. Carrie. The part at the end where she reaches up and grabs the girl by the wrist. I've read the book (my mom loves Steven King, she's got evey book he's done.)it didn't scare me. It's one of my faves. (Along with The Shineing.)That part of the movie scared me. Here's why. I was watching the movie in my room which is next to the living room in our house. My parents were watching it in the living room. As the movie got near that part, my step dad got ready. Right at that part, my step dad slammed his hand up onto the wall very loudly. I jumped about 20 feet in the air, and screamed. That part always makes me jump, so like I needed this. I then leap off my bed and go into the living room and proceed to yell at my step dad. I felt like killing him. He knows I don't like that part....

Actually, he kicks ass most of the time. (He's way better then my real dad.) I like the re make they did a few years ago. I saw the one you're talking about and didn't like it. (Steven King didn't even like it.) "Come play with us Jinkies." Sorry, Cartoon Network coming in. Hey, it's only one week away, but I know what you mean. New shows!! I'm sick of the ones I've seen already.

Um, since Nightcrawler is a movie buff, it's perfectly on topic for us to ramble on about movies... yeah.
Anyway, one movie scared me without me even seeing.
When i was like 5, i had a dream where i was watching CHIPS (heh) where they were following the trail of a serial killer and for some reason C3PO and R2D2 came in to help them. (it's a dream) So at some point, when they ask C3PO who the next victim will be, my name is spelled out across the screen and C3PO looks directly at me and says in a deep voice "YOU!"
So then years later, i'm watching TV and a commercial for "The Lawnmower Man" comes on and this gold-skinned electronic-looking man comes on the screen and happens to look directly at where i'm sitting in the room and screams "YOU WILL DIE!!!"
I ran out of the room. I've still not seen the movie.
